In the role for IT Support Desk, you will serve as the initial contact for escalation, addressing concerns promptly or advancing them when immediate solutions are not feasible. You'll Manage the acquisition, setup, and implementation of end-user equipment and cell phones, and offer both primary and secondary IT support to staff members on a local and international scale, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase hardware/software in order to meet business requirements, ensuring stock is controlled and assets managed in line with current processes.
- Install and configure all hardware and related software, replacing/repairing elements of hardware as required
- Great experience surrounding IOS and windows 11 operating systems
- Install, maintain and configure cell phones and data devices as required.
- Provide general administration and support for company's key software
- Azure Active Directory and Office 365 administration
- Have a security focused mindset, escalating issues to our Cyber Security Lead as required.
- Verify and control licenses and versions for each application and operating system
- Monitor infrastructure activity and capacity levels and escalate issues to our Infrastructure Engineer as required
- Respond to local/global user queries/tickets in a timely manner in line with company SLA
- Ensure local hardware and software are in line with UK standardization goals
Must Have:
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact with a diverse range of colleagues in both technical and non-technical terms.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft applications like Intune, Azure, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange.
- A continuous improvement mindset, always looking to enhance knowledge and develop other skills to solve problems effectively.
