A&T Moore Health Care is a privately owned and operated home care company located in Arlington, Texas. The agency is committed to providing personal care to help the elderly, disabled, homebound, and post-operative patients maintain the highest possible level of independence.
Caregivers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide assistance to clients.
A & T Moore Health Care is seeking a professional Alternate Administrator who will be sharing on-call duties with other staff members. This role may require some patient care such as lifting, transferring, dressing, and grooming.
Qualifications
Have a high school diploma or a general equivalency degree (GED) with at least two years of
management or supervisory experience in a health-related setting, such as:
(i) a home and community support services agency;
(ii) a hospital;
(iii) a nursing facility;
(iv) a hospice;
(v) an outpatient rehabilitation center;
(vi) a psychiatric facility;
(vii) an intermediate care facility for individuals with an intellectual disability or related conditions; or
(viii) a licensed health care delivery setting providing services for individuals with functional disabilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong background in medical administrative support, patient service, and/or office experience.
- Patient Care Experience: Must be able to use a gait belt, Hoyer lift, and perform all transfer types including lifting if necessary.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
- Be capable or willing to learn how to do a tube feeding under RN delegation
- LVN or RN license is a plus or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Responsible for on-call duties, including some weekends
- Outside marketing experience is a plus
- ClearCare/WellSky experience is a plus
- Familiarity with policies and procedures according to state regulations
- Ability to train others using safe practices
- A dependable vehicle is required
- Professional phone voice/Professional appearance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct supervisory and monitoring visits
- Answer phones in a friendly manner
- Update care logs
- Ability to train new employees how to use software
- Train/Orient new caregivers to client assignments, including meeting care staff at client's homes
- May require you to run errands and provide incidental transportation for a client using your vehicle or a client’s vehicle
- Daily documentation of calls/visits to the office
- Ability to maintain HIPAA laws
- General office duties such as filing, mailing, faxing, etc.
- Provide direct personal care as needed
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Participate in office staff meetings
- Schedule caregivers with appropriate clients
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
- Proficient typing skills are required.
- Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities.
- Maintain the agency's vision, values, and mission statement
