We are looking for a chef to complete all prep and line cooking in a small family operated Thai Restaurant. Menu and recipes are established and prepared daily. Small kitchen with one chef and one sou chef.
Responsibilities
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Estimate food requirement
- Rectify arising problems or complaints
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills
- Proven working experience as a chef
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Capable of delegating multiple tasks
- Communication and leadership skills
- Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
- BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
