A1 Door Company, a leading name in the residential and commercial garage door business in central Virginia, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial/Industrial Sales Representative to join our team. As a Commercial/Industrial Sales Representative you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, establishing customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of our business.


Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving sales of our commercial/industrial department, including overhead door and loading dock equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential commercial and industrial clients. Understand their needs, provide expert advice, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our commercial products, services, and industry trends. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our offerings to potential commercial and industrial customers.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with the estimating team to coordinate providing quotes and services, ensuring seamless delivery to customers.
  5. Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics. Regularly report on sales activities, challenges, and successes to the management team.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the industrial or construction industry.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  4. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  5. Knowledge of commercial/industrial products and services is a plus.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
