A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Business Case Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC supporting the Federal Aviation Administration. The qualified candidate will be a highly responsible, team-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic. Qualified candidates need the ability to act independently, possess analytical and excellent interpersonal skills and can work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth business case evaluations and analyses for major FAA programs related to the acquisition, implementation and modernization of both the FAA NAS and non-NAS systems.
- Analyze shortfalls, system requirements, acquisition strategies, deployment strategies, sustainment strategies, risk analyses, safety and environmental assessments and enterprise services assessments to evaluate the suitability of candidate solutions and inform schedule and cost estimates.
- Use economic analysis to include Net Present Value (NPV), Return on Investment (ROI) and the payback period to evaluate the business case for proposed investments.
- Conduct independent verification and validation (IV&V) of data and assumptions used by the Program Office.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency producing deliverables using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other MS Office Products.
- Strong analytical background in gathering and interpreting complex data.
- Excellent communication skills.
- US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.
Skills Preferred:
- Experience working on FAA programs, especially Terminal and EnRoute.
- MBA
- PMP certification.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, computer science, economics, finance, information systems, information technology, mathematics, statistics, operations research or business administration and 10-15 years related experience OR
- Master's degree in accounting, business management, computer science, economics, finance, information systems, information technology, mathematics, statistics, operations research or business administration and 7-12 years related experience.
