AAA Central Penn is looking for an energetic and customer focused individual with a
passion for travel to join our AAA Travel team.
The Journey Manager is responsible for the well-being and safety of AAA Central Penn Discoveries travelers and the fulfillment and delivery of all group tour activities while hosting tours and cruises. The
Journey Manager must be creative and able to execute appropriate resolution of challenges and situations which impede the successful delivery of a remarkable personal experience for the traveler. Supplies a critique of tour operator, specific itinerary and destination.
The ideal candidate possesses:
- In-depth knowledge of geography and the travel industry
- Good communication skills in person, writing, and over the phone
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Good multi-tasking ability and time management
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to plan and participate in AAA promotional events
- Ability to handle complex itineraries and coordination with tour directors and other guides
- Ability to participate and lead strenuous physical exercise and activity
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
