Responsibilities
- Translate strategic business goals into actionable delivery plans (identify project scope, assess resource availability, establish milestones, etc.).
- Provide input into project stakeholder identification and team development. Identify project roles & responsibilities.
- Create and implement project plans with clear timelines and deliverables.
- Align cross-functional partners and groups around project deliverables, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of work.
- Coordinate and regularly communicate project updates across multiple workstreams and to various stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks and dependencies. Proactively raise impediments to appropriate stakeholders for resolution.
- Lead/facilitate meetings; conduct regular check-ins and hold project team accountable.
- Work with team to update and maintain relevant project documentation/artifacts.
- Provide overall management and oversight of project work. Apply professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams to successful outcomes.
- Ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within budget, schedule, and scope.
- Identify areas of opportunity to continuously improve operational/project management processes. Contribute to the development of project management best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or advanced degree in business, marketing, technology or related field required.
- A minimum of 2-5 years project/program management experience, ideally working in a mid-sized to large organization.
- Proven experience managing projects in both agile/traditional waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Ability to manage issues diplomatically and effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Flexible and adaptable. Ability to quickly react and pivot as priorities change.
- Ability to delegate & persuade others to take specific action.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
