Position Summary:
AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Little Rock, Arkansas that shapes the future by designing and building military aircraft, business jets and space systems. We are looking for experienced CNC Operators who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!
The CNC Operator will build aircraft parts using CNC router machinery, shop tools, and standard aircraft materials to support the delivery of the aircraft cabinets.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
- Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year CNC machine experience, cabinet building experience, or equivalent.
- Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic machine principles.
- Computer proficient.
- Able to set up and operate all standard equipment related to the CNC router process.
- Must possess required tools and tool box.
- Able to work from documentation such as drawings, f-standards, preparation packages, 3d models
- Good working knowledge of math and geometry and be able to work in both Metric and English
- units of measure.
- Able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Visual capacity and muscular dexterity to work on fine detail, high-cost products with a minimum of errors and rework.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
