Job Summary: Oversee and manage various human resource functions related to employee recruitment, development, and retention, as well as handling personnel issues and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Promote a productive and positive work environment that supports the company's overall objectives and helps employees thrive in their roles.
Essential Responsibilities/Activities:
- Oversees the hiring/recruitment process, including job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
- Assists new employees during their onboarding process, providing them with the necessary information, training, and support to integrate into the company smoothly.
- Implements performance appraisal systems, sets goals, and provides feedback to employees to improve their performance.
- Identifies the training needs of employees and organizes or facilitates training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Initiates and organizes programs and activities that boost employee morale, motivation, and overall engagement.
- Stays up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure the organization's HR practices are in compliance with legal requirements.
- Handles employee grievances, conflicts, and mediation between employees and management.
- Establishes and updates company policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Ensures compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related legislation.
- Identifies high-potential employees and implements strategies to develop and retain top talent within the organization.
- Develops strategies to improve employee retention and engagement within the organization.
- Oversees the offboarding process when employees leave the company.
- Analyzes HR data and generates reports to measure and improve HR effectiveness.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Degree(s): Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 5 years if experience.
Certification(s): PHR certification preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced understanding of human resources principles.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Essential Physical Functions:
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Sitting for prolonged periods
- Requires periodic visits to manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
- Travel may be required including overnight stays.
