What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant position at Aaron's?
Longstreet Clinic is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant or Athletic Trainer for our Orthopedics department located in Gainesville, GA. This position will assist with organizing patient charts, communicating with our patients and their families on the proper care as directed by our providers, collecting patient data such as medical history, entering patient information into our EMR system, and assisting in minor office procedures.
A thorough understanding of wound care, sterilization practices, the application and removal of casts, splints and braces along with previous clinical experience is required. Previous experience with EPIC is a plus. Certification in Medical Assisting or Athletic Training is desired.
