Reports directly to Area Director
Basic Function
- Lead group of assigned stores within region
- Supervise all general managers within their region
- Ensure all stores are following company policies and procedures
- Recruit, hire, and retain team members
- Ensure stores within region are meeting performance expectations
Primary Responsibilities
- The Acquisition and Maintenance of Customers
- Ensure team is completing all Learning and Development assigned courses and any additional learning opportunities that become available
- Ensure execution of the sales “Flow”, including telephone sales and showroom sales
- Ensure that all stores showroom floor is merchandised as per merchandising standard
- Ensure that the Customer Renewals program is followed in each store
- Ensure all safety and security policies are followed to protect team members, customers, and company assets
- Ensure that all merchandise is accurately priced
- Ensure compliance with the No-Holes Policy
- Monitor and ensure efficient operation of the Quality Assurance area in warehouse
- Ensure all customer service opportunities are resolved in a timely manner
- Other tasks as assigned by the Area Director or Divisional Vice President
Position requires
- Position routinely requires lifting, loading, moving merchandise 50-300 pounds
- The skills to effectively perform all functions in the store
- High energy level
- Professional appearance
- Good computer knowledge
- Demonstrated selling skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques
- Good driving skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Frequent travel within the region
- General Manager experience
