Sales Associate
Aarons is a Findlay, OH-based company that provides an innovative and cost-effective solution to help our customers get their Home furnishing, electronics, and appliance needs met along with other product options. We are currently looking for a full-time Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, meeting sales goals, and setting up appointments for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter our store
- Answer phones in a professional manner and in reference to customer service and store operations
- Process customer transactions and provide customer service support to store personnel
- Prepare daily intake forms, copy documents, and maintain customer files
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory of store supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, floor, restrooms, etc.
- Assist customers with questions about their needs or with specific questions regarding the services we provide
- Build productive relationships through communication with customers and other staff members (e.g. salesperson, receptionist, manager)
- Cooperate with other staff members as you assist customers in the store and communicate with other team members when you are in the Findlay, OH area (e.g. out-of-town employees or management)
- Other duties as assigned by manager or owner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- 2 years of previous retail sales experience preferred but not required
