The Manager, Digital Services manages and implements assigned projects. Determines resources needed, tracks budgets, determines scope and execution, tracks progress towards milestones, establishes timelines, and evaluates progress. - Oversees direct and indirect management of regular employees and contract resources to ensure the delivery of quality digital solutions, projects and program on time and on budget.
- Tracks and reports to department leadership on the status of multiple program and project work streams, including assessments of metrics on both the department's and the organization's dashboards.
- Communicates and champions the department's approach to growing membership and increasing the value of the organization's digital properties, as part of the organizations consumer value delivery.
- Maintains strong relationships with and is a digital consultant to Enterprise Impact Areas, communications strategy, analytics and business units. Helps to ensure alignment of digitial strategy and business solutions that have measurable value and impact. Ensures ongoing communication on program and digital initiatives.
- Works with department leadership to ensure mutual understanding of business and department goals and resources. Helps prioritize digital work based on value and impact or other factors defined by leadership.
- Builds strong peer-to-peer relationships with other departmental teams (e.g., product design and management, integrated marketing, audience management, membership lifecycle, etc.) to collaborate on scalable, coordinated digital solutions.
- Works across the organization and its affiliates and operational teams to ensure coordinated responses and solutions to cross-functional business needs.
- Determines resources needed, tracks budget, determines scope and execution, tracks progress towards milestones, establishes timelines, and evaluates progress.
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience, with at least 7 years in a large consumer-facing digital organization.
- 5 years in a people leadership roles (direct reports or matrix team).
- Excellent skills with demonstrated ability to build, maintain and nurture strong, productive working relationships with internal an external partners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task required.
- Ability to bring a strategic approach to team and workload management.
- Experience with established, large-scale content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager), including integrations with other technical platforms, such as Salesforce or third party solutions. Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment.
- Familiarity with digital user identity management (login & registration) and Adobe Analytics, as well as project and/or task management systems (such as Confluence, Jira, Smartsheet, etc) preferred.

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)
AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.
