Bonus up to $25,000. As a full time Air
Medical Flight Nurse with a minimum of three years (five years preferred) of
current critical care or emergency experience, you will play a pivotal role in
providing advanced patient care during aeromedical transport. Operating in a
dynamic and time-sensitive environment in Safford, Az, you will leverage your extensive
clinical expertise to deliver specialized medical treatment to patients
requiring urgent evacuation, ensuring the highest standard of care at altitude.
Requirements:
- Must have an active RN license to practice in the state employed.
- Paramedic Certification
- Minimum of three years (five years preferred) of current critical care/emergency experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS. NRP preferred. Instructor certifications preferred.
- CFRN within twenty-four months of hire.
- Flight or transport experience preferred.
- Must successfully complete the our Air Medical Group education/orientation program.
- Effective human relations skills required for interfacing with all levels of personnel and external customers.
- Must meet and maintain clinical personnel weight restriction limit for flight according to policy.
- Must possess basic computer skills for e-mail, electronic charting, etc.
- Ability to communicate verbally, effectively and clearly in person and by radio
- Must maintain body weight below 250 lbs
- Must be able to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment, lift up to 100 pounds) and drug screening
Compensation: $97,452 to $119,907 plus benefits.
