Business Analyst

We leverage industry best practices and business innovations to provide measurable results. We are seeking a Business Analyst in support of our customer MARAD.

Duties and Responsibilities

Planning, coordination, preparation, and facilitation support for both internal and external project meetings

Design, develop, author, and maintain high quality operational support documents based upon functional needs associated with the development of critical acquisition and operational artifacts in a collaborative effort with technical analysts, managers, and project team members.

Use and design of designated SharePoint sites, with the data being worked from multiple sources that require consolidation, normalization, and regular synchronization. Strong understanding of and experience with the Federal acquisition lifecycle and the development of related artifacts.

Apply knowledge and understanding of acquisition, policies, procedures/SOPs, Operations Guides and supporting artifacts Business process analysis mapping experience to support process design and documentation development.

The resource will develop, update, and maintain communication materials as well as support the development of project documentation and deliverables.

Work closely with the project manager and team members to ensure all project documentation and deliverables are clear and appropriate to share with the rest of the organization.

Develop business workflows, requirements document, and other business analysis and operational artifacts.

Educational and Qualification Requirements

• 8 years of experience providing business analysis for similar work.
• Ability to support and analyze concurrent business initiatives and develop high-quality project documentation and deliverables. Knowledge of the Federal Government's acquisition process
• Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative
• Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat Ability to travel to Washington, DC
