Inventory Control Supervisor
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory. The IS handles all paperwork and procedures necessary to meet this goal. S/he will also verify all orders received and shipped, ensuring that the orders are properly accounted for in the company’s records. The Inventory Supervisor accounts for all defective or damaged products and follows with appropriate corrective action. This individual will ensure cycle counts are planned and executed in line with customer requirements.
Maintain and update inventory records.
Create efficient and accurate inventory management procedures
Perform all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management
Reconcile inventories and coordinate annual physical inventory procedures
Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving management of inventory
Plan and implement a recovery program to ensure all defective product is accounted for and handled properly
Supervise the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reports
Conduct as necessary, any search to locate products within the system
Develop a program to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location
Process proper documentation to generate a prompt credit transaction
Perform weekly cycle counts and make system adjustments as necessary
Develop a program to maintain tight security over inventory
Maintain accurate records to help facilitate shortage detection
Develop all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts
Ensure Inventory cycles are completed within customer guidelines.
Develop, implement and direct programs to promote a safety culture on site and to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property is a priority.
Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of reports regarding Inventory operations.
Work with on site customer representatives to ensure a smooth operation and to strengthen customer relations.
Adhere to Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Program polices and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
High School Education or Equivalent
College education is a plus
Must have two (2) years supervisory experience and a minimum of three (3) years experience within an Inventory management role.
CEIL experience is preferred
Knowledge of Red Prairie is a plus
Exp. in an automated E-Comm environment desirable.
Establish priorities, multi-task and detail oriented.

Possess professional business demeanor.
Critical thinking skills
Ability to problem solve with urgency
PC literate including MS Access, Excel and Word with emphasis on intermediate Excel skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour
