Your role and responsibilitiesJoin our team as the Assistant Plant Controller in Senatobia, MS where you will have the opportunity to collect and analyze financial metrics as well as identify trends/problems and communicate information to Plant Leadership. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of the specific factory/manufacturing site.
Our plant located in Senatobia, MS is a highly dynamic site with an exponential growth. This role will require being onsite (#LI-Onsite) on a daily basis.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes by providing insightful data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
- Supporting Operations and collaborating with various departments to drive strategic initiatives and enhance the overall financial performance of the manufacturing unit.
- Performing analyses of business performance versus plan and proposing improvement actions.
- Benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar sites within ABB.
- Preparing financial modelling for various hypotheses and assessing impact to factory with special focus on product / business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under-absorption analysis / inventory analysis.
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance, and/or Costing & Analysis background.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Previous ERP costing experience is a plus. (SAP highly desirable)
- Advanced Excel skills and PowerBI
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
