This position reports to

R&D Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensure accuracy of certification records
• Coordinate and execute of certification projects and testing.
• Mechanical/electrical assembly of samples, test set-up, report calculation or data analysis, status on projects to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Prepare certification document packages to support the product compliance.
• Assist electrical/mechanical design engineers in determining testing requirements for product compliance.
• Update certification databases with product information
• Provide Support for product certification and characterization.
• Coordinate product relationship with suppliers via factory locations, brand labeling agreements and repacking programs.
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program engineering in the United States.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
