Manufacturing at ABB ranges from assembly of customized industrial robots to advanced production of electrical switches and breakers. The innovative products we make, drive the world’s largest ships, connect remote renewable power sources with consumers, and automate complex industrial processes. The role reports to the Quality Manager, and is located in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The Quality Auditor is responsible for inspecting and testing product in compliance with our quality standards. This includes researching quality errors and documenting in report form.

Your responsibilities

• Execution: Executes the assigned work per agreed work flows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines.
• Quality: The job may include regular quality testing as part of a defined production process. Skill set required depends on type of products and level of complexity. Typically, a highly skilled worker.
• Materials and output: Ensures availability of required materials to execute the assigned work per work flow.
• Organization: Responsible for the proper operation and daily maintenance of equipment in use. Maintains safe working attitude and environment in the performance of daily activities.
• Health & safety: Conducts shop floor operations in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
• Perform other duties/projects as required.

Your background

• HS Diploma or Equivalent and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
• Associates degree as preferred.
• Prior experience in quality and continuous improvement tools and techniques.
• LX system knowledge.
• Past ISO auditing experience.
