Our location in Richmond, VA currently has an opportunity for a National Account Support Specialist. The National Account Support Specialist works directly with the National Account Coordinators and Account Management team to ensure that all daily tasks and special projects are completed accurately and in a timely manner.  The National Account Support Specialist must adhere to deadlines, be willing to learn new tasks, and be able to successfully interact with internal and external teams.  In this position, the National Account Support Specialist will also work reports to ensure that client and billing information is updated and accurate.  The Support Specialist must always convey a “can do”, professional, and high quality, service mindset.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Run reports as directed in systems such as Report Manager and Service Desk, and Alere App.
  • Update records in appropriate tools IE: Intranet, eDrug, Service Desk Alere App, DataLink etc.
  • Makes outbound calls to clinics to retrieve missing forms and information (IE: CCF’s BATs etc.).
  • Maintains thorough records of all outbound calls and documents all conversations and actions.
  • Performs account updates, edits, triages and processes orders as needed.
  • Performs quality and compliance related activities as directed.
  • Completes data entry and data mining projects as needed.
  • Completes outbound call projects as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • High school diploma
  • 1 year of professional experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with outbound calls

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Abbott eScreen products and software applications is a plus
  • Must be a technology-minded person with a comfort level using Microsoft office applications; creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets; using digital conference applications (Webex, Microsoft Teams); using CRMs; and other similar platforms to track projects and document details
  • Must be an extremely organized person who can manage several open issues and continue to work them until closed with resolution; while working on all special projects
  • Must be able to show exceptional attention to detail and be able to work with a high level of accuracy
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be familiar with the basics of providing outstanding customer service and the ability to function within a sales-driven department
  • Must be able to successfully work independently and with a team
