WHAT YOU’LL DO
The role of Plant Good Manufacturing Practice Specialist contributes to the site’s overall success and compliance by:
Driving compliance to sanitation and allergen preventive control records and other sanitation programs including review, interpretation, management, and filing to assure accountability of the site to regulatory and GMP requirements.
•Assuring the site’s self-inspection program is effective and adequately supported by all areas.
•Acting as sanitation support in the process of assessing and mitigating safety risk associated with the execution of written procedures related to sanitation at the site.
•Auditing sanitation, allergen and self-inspection records for compliance and completeness.
•Collaborate/Coordinate with Operations Leadership, Operations Associates and Site Cleaning Crew to achieve desired environmental monitoring, pest control, and GMP performance.
•Compile monthly sanitation metrics related to each area of the site completing a self-inspection on a weekly basis as is procedurally required and to ensure program effectiveness and accountability. This includes the ability to report weekly metrics, if needed, during site tier huddles.
•Participate in the document control and change management process of sanitation and allergen preventive control, and self-inspection program records.
•Support conformance to master cleaning schedule and applicable cGMP guidelines, best practices, and requirements.
•Assist in developing and implementing sanitation related training for sanitation and plant employees as needed.
•Ensures all safety requirements related to sanitation are met including proper chemical storage, MSDS, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and procedures.
You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
