What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at ABC Behavior?
ABC Behavior is an ABA company focused on providing care to children with developmental disabilities. We have a clinical approach to helping our clients gain independence and reach goals that make sense for them. We are searching for experienced RBTs who are looking for full-time hours. Applicants should have a track record of punctuality, ABA experience, and availability to work full-time hours.
We are looking for afternoon/evening availability from RBTs.
We are hiring for our Fairfax, VA offices.
Must pass a background check.
Must submit references from prior ABA companies.
Must hold or have held an RBT Certification.
Must be over 18 and have a high school diploma/GED.
Part-time positions and their availability will be dependent upon your location, experience, and other factors. ABC Behavior also provides career growth opportunities with supervision and training for technicians interested in becoming BCBAs. This includes our Master Clincian Certification for current or graduated ABA students.

Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Collect data on client progress and behavior using specified methods and tools.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients to teach and reinforce positive behaviors.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and progress.
- Assist in creating and implementing individualized treatment goals and behavior plans.
- Support clients in developing daily living skills and promoting independence.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with clients and their families.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
