Abcam is looking for a Quality Control, Team Lead to join our team. The goal of this product line is to deliver outstanding products to our customers and help Abcam achieve our aim of being the most influential company in life sciences by helping advance global understanding of biology and causes of disease, which, in turn, will drive new treatments and improved health.
Roles & Responsibilities
Generate protocols, reports and CoAs for protein production
Perform documented methods required for finished product quality testing
Review manufacturing documentation for process deviations
Communicate analyzed results in detailed written reports
Maintain archive of control sample inventory required for product testing
Must possess strong organization skills
Maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
Comply with ISO9001:2015 Quality Standards.
Core competency at analyzing imaging data to draw conclusions about the efficacy of tested products
Ability to design experiments to test the efficacy of Abcam products
Ability to compare protocols and troubleshoot experimental design or execution in production of Abcam products
May be required to perform other duties as required/assigned
About you:
BS in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, biological sciences, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
4 years of relevant experience with strong experience in the QC laboratories.
Demonstrates a strong knowledge of cGMP compliance, site and regulatory agency requirements and procedures.
Broad knowledge of QC laboratory operations and complex biologics assays, cell culture, and manufacturing operations.
Successful experience working with cross-functional project teams from Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production, Protein Sciences
Strong general laboratory and organizational skills, effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experienced with utilizing multiple root cause analysis tools.
Creative problem solver.
Strong attention to detail required.
Interpersonal/facilitation skills with the ability to lead QC team.
