About Abiding Missions: Abiding Missions is a 501(c)3 public charity that is charged with being present in the Allentown and South Hilltop neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. Abiding Missions strives to address matters of social justice and create platforms for restorative justice in the community. Currently, Abiding Missions provides opportunities for healthy and fresh food for our neighbors, a warming center in the winter, and enriching programming for children and youth.
Our after school program provides elementary school children with programming around leadership development, education, music, cooking, and STEM. Programming is in conjunction with Penn State Extension and 4-H. Staff are employees of Abiding Missions, not Penn State.
Job Summary: The Program Assistant provides support to the youth programs at Abiding Missions. Working closely with the Program Coordinator, Executive Director, and Community Chaplain to assist in the coordination of program provision and outreach.
