AUDIOLOGIST - RELOCATION OR SIGN-ON BONUS OFFERED

Abingdon ENT is currently seeking an Audiologist who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again. The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and effectively counsel while building patient rapport. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and committed to providing excellent patient care and being instrumental in the growth of the practice. The hours are Monday – Friday 8-5PM.

Daily tasks and responsibilities

· Establish strong relationships with patients and their family members, setting realistic expectations and guidance with their hearing loss.

· Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments.

· Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems.

· Maintain documentation and patient files.

· Community outreach/participating in events.

Qualifications

· Masters’ Degree in Audiology but Au.D. is preferred.

· Active and current hearing aid dispensing license.

The successful Audiologist will also possess the following:

· Strong interpersonal skills both verbal and written.

· The ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.

· The ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.

· Great organizational/time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Audiological Testing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Hearing Aid Fitting & Dispensing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Virginia Audiology Licensure (Preferred)
