Training Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Training Supervisor, under the direction of the Executive Director, will be required to assess current training and development systems to align with 245D Licensing. This role will also develop new training programs, administer all PBS training, develop and track training requirements and schedules for all agency employees. May be required to conduct research to identify specific staff training needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- BA/BS degree in Human Services, Organizational Development or Education
- 5-7 years working in the field of disabilities
- Experience developing goals and outcomes
- Complete integrity, honesty, and confidentiality
- Ability to work with time-sensitive issues
- Outstanding decision-making skills and response to high pressure situations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Role Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Identifies with, shares in, and displays a commitment to the vision, mission, core values, and core virtues of ABLE, Inc.
- Collaborates across the entire organization to build an environment of collective responsibility and accountability.
- Collaborates with Human Resources to develop and facilitate impactful training and education for the entire organization.
- Identify training needs and providing recommendations
- Deliver training programs
- Maintaining records and providing participants with feedback
- Will participate in On Call Rotation and perform Direct Care duties
- Assist with Grant Writing
- Performs other duties as assigned.
People Supported:
- Advocates for appropriate training to effectively care for Persons Supported
- Provides Direct Care on an as needed basis to maintain knowledge of Person Supported needs
- Will participate in On Call Rotation
Financial/Budgeting:
- Develops and monitors Agency Training Budget.
- Plans and participates in agency functions and fundraising events.
Continuing Education:
- Maintains current certification in Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS), First Aid and Trained Medication Aide (TMA).
- Attends conferences/workshops as needed to further enhance the skills necessary to provide exceptional training to staff
