Able Machinery is searching for a Machinery Mover/Rigger. We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working as a team. In this role, you will dismantle, move, and set machinery and equipment at our customer’s site.
Position Details:
- Work in the yard and job sites as needed.
- Assist in moving, aligning, and leveling machinery.
- Learn how to use the required tools for different jobs and the purpose of them.
- Learn and use basic and advanced rigging techniques.
- Assist in loading, tying down and unloading equipment on trailers.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Pick up tools on job site and yard after each use, put in proper place.
- Operate forklift effectively from signalman.
- Use of manual/hydraulic jacks, chain falls/trolleys and other equipment.
- Attend safety and training classes as needed.
- Fill out and participate in daily JSA’s.
- Works with supervisor and crews to learn the process of moving equipment on the job site and in the yard.
- When back from a job site, report to dispatch for more duties.

- Willingness to learn
- Able to take directions from supervisors
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively
- 1 Year experience operating a Forklift
- Previous Rigging or Millwright experience a plus (level 2 – 6-8 years)
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and travel for long stretches when needed
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable motor vehicle record. Must be over 21 to be in a driving position.
