Responsible for cleaning and stocking supplies in all public areas inside and outside of assigned building, including restroom as needed. Respond to business management needs in a timely and effective manner. The Day Porter must be flexible and willing to complete tasks as assigned.

\n- Physically walk the common areas on a frequent basis and remove litter, debris, etc.
- Ensure that all the laundry rooms, mail rooms, dumpster areas and recreation areas remain neat and free of litter at all times
- Assist with daily housekeeping assignments, including dusting, cleaning ovens, microwaves, stove tops and kitchen hoods, bathrooms, showers, bathtubs, appliances, kitchen and pantry, windows, mini blinds and mirrors
- Custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, cleaning windows, etc. in common areas
- Report items requiring major repairs to the Superintendent
- Inspect and maintain all tools in excellent condition
- Perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties
- Adhere to all Able safety procedures regarding the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as tasks dictate
- Know and adhere to all federal, state, and local laws as well as all policies and AES procedures
- Reports to and collaborates with management of the facility related issues
- Works with management on all plant and resident related issues
- Must be able to speak and understand basic phrases relating to workplace safety
- Ensures standards of service and commitment
- Assist in snow removal when necessary
- Maintains regular attendance in the workplace
- Provides highest quality of service to the tenants, staff and visitors at the facility
- Must be courteous, friendly and polite
- Complies with employment laws and Able Engineering Services employment practices
- Supports and follows Able Engineering Services' operational policies and standards
- Supports and follows Able Engineering Services' safety program
- Perform related duties as required.
