General Responsibilities:
The Site Supervisor is responsible for the direct oversight of an assigned work team on a designated account and on a designated shift. The Site Supervisor is further responsible for ensuring that productivity levels and effectivity of janitorial duties and that front-line employees are complying with all safety, quality, and compliance standards established by the Company, by our Clients, and by regulatory authorities.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise daily operations (walk the floor, respond to questions and concerns)
- Monitor rest breaks and lunch breaks. Fill in as necessary.
- Manage attendance reports as well as employee clock in/out.
- Manage lost and found boxes and pick up on required schedule.
- Manage WFMs.
- Ensure communication during shift changes.
- Participate in client briefings and communicate with Client representatives on a frequent basis regarding operations.
- Approve leave requests and participate in disciplinary actions.
- Work with Safety Quality Manager to ensure the safety and security of the operation and any use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Ensure front-line employee compliance with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the company, by our clients and by regulatory authorities.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Language Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language and Spanish.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as government issued identification items, safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Math Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available
- Customer Service Experience
- 1 yr of similar work experience
