The Manager of Sales Support is responsible for overseeing a team that provides support to the sales department within this company. This may involve managing customer service inquiries, managing sales leads and data, providing technical support, and collaborating with other departments to ensure that sales goals are met.
Hours: 7:30am- 4pm (Monday- Friday)
$50-65k (DOE)
Manager of Sales Support job duties:
- Understanding, supporting, and embracing the software systems that this company is or has successfully implemented; including ensuring information is updated timely to reflect real time information.
- Developing and leading your assigned direct reports so that you are helping to achieve its desired strategic initiatives and growth goals through their individual efforts.
- Effectively managing and ensuring staffing to meet the demands of the business.
- Being responsible for the individual and team training, coaching, and mentoring of assigned direct reports.
- Satisfying Management reporting requirements in a timely fashion.
- Utilizing reports and recorded calls to provide direction and feedback to direct reports, as well as other areas of the organization where appropriate.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders including, Marketing, Purchasing, Accounting, Transportation and Warehouse, to maximize efficiencies, generate sales and provide an excellent customer experience.
- Engaging and leading actively through a continuous improvement mindset for organizational value creation
- Developing team focus on continuous improvement by providing mentorship and support to optimize team member’s ownership and successful implementation.
- Engaging as a good steward of the cooperative by adhering to all company procedures, values, and policies.
- Managing of changes that impact customer deliveries (i.e., Holiday route changes, weather, or truck delays, etc.) in an effective and timely manner.
Manager of Customer Support Requirements:
- Effective team player.

- Possess great communication skills.
- Are competent in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to readily answer customer questions and resolve any customer complaints.
