Children’s Art Teacher/Instructor - Part Time
Abrakadoodle Art – Silver Spring, Maryland
Abrakadoodle of Greater Silver Spring is seeking a HIGH energy instructor for weekly camps that start at the end of June through August. You will also have the opportunity to teach at our elementary and or middle schools for the next school year.

Possess a love of children, have experience teaching children in early childhood, elementary, or middle school environments, have the ability to work a flexible schedule teaching afternoon, wish to work part-time, and want to be part of an exciting learning environment?
- This is a great job for art education majors in college, adults with experience teaching young children, who are looking for part-time opportunities, and retired teachers.
- Experience working with children is REQUIRED. We are looking for people who have experience working with children in a preschool, childcare center, elementary setting, middle school. Only interested in responsible, reliable candidates.
- Abrakadoodle provides all training, lessons, art supplies, plus on-going support.
- After- School Classes are generally held between 3 and 5 p.m., Monday – Friday for one to two hours.
- Weekend Work availability
- Summer day time Art Camp hours will also be available.
- This is a VERY part time position, 1-10 hours a week to start.
- Candidates MUST have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to various sites in the area to teach 1-6 hour art classes to be considered for this position.
- This position is available for qualified candidates that can work in the following communities:
- Montgomery County
- Prince George’s County
