GME Coordinator Full Time Days Position Summary
This position manages and oversees the Emergency Medicine Residency Program. Includes assisting the program director and faculty in the development and implementation of the emergency medicine residency-training program. Coordinates the recruitment of new residents and manages the residency application process via ERAS. Demonstrates responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the residency program, academic growth, personal guidance and well-being of its residents in training. Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in applying detailed knowledge of the responsibilities, functions and management structure of the residency by organizing and independently prioritizing work, establishing procedures and ensuring the orderly and timely flow through the residency. Participates in budget review and financial processes.

GME COORDINATOR FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Minimum Education
High School Diploma
Preferred Education
Associates Degree and/or additional experience preferred
Minimum Experience
5 years admin support experience including 2-3 in a GME office. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment. Must be proficient with commonly used office software and computers.
