**Job Overview**

Right at In-Home Caregivers make a difference by:

• Providing non-medical one-on-one care
• Serving as a companion to clients
• Assisting with Personal Care (e.g. Bathing, Dressing, Grooming)
• Assisting with Alzheimer's or dementia care
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Reminding clients to take medications
• Conducting light Housekeeping
• Preparing simple meals

We are looking for compassionate, attentive individuals to care for and assist our clients to ensure they lead safe, healthy lives. Caregivers, help people with limitations related to age and ability. They assist patients with everyday tasks and self-care, such as bathing, taking medication, shopping, and cooking.

At Abridge Health, we are determined to not only provide superior care to our clients but offer an environment to our employees where they can build a relationship with the team and client. Our end goal is to match a client that fits into a caregiver's distance requirements, schedule availability, and skill set. We don't require caregivers to take shifts they do not want! This enables us to build strong caregiver/client relationships, offer consistent weekly scheduling and compatibility.

Medical licensing is not required but helpful. Newly certified or experienced CNA/ LNA/ HHAs encouraged to apply!

This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for those you will work with.

**Full onboarding is currently taking up to 4-6 weeks**

**Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to or required, based on contract. You get to choose):**

- Provide companionship and emotional support to resident

- Provide companionship and conversation

- Meal preparation and medication reminders (only)

- 1-on-1 assistance with hands-on, non-medical activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, and dressing

-Light housekeeping

- Ensure residents' rights and privacy are respected at all times

- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs

- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior

- May offer direct support to the families

- Provide patient care with empathy and professionalism.

**Skills:**

- Experience in senior care or direct support roles

- Proficiency in assisting individuals with disabilities or seniors

- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient care practices

- Understanding of resident rights and dignity preservation

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving

- Ability to work effectively as an individual and in a team environment

- Empathy and sensitivity towards the needs of vulnerable populations
