Business Enablement Manager, Business Development

Onsite, Vancouver, WA

We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Enablement Manager to join our Business Development team. You will play a significant role in enabling Absci's sales and marketing process, supporting the Business Development team. You will leverage your business and strategic mindset coupled with knowledge of life sciences to enable the team's ability to foster new alliances, partnerships, and collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Business Development team to design, optimize, and implement a successful and repeatable sales process
  • Support the management of day-to-day Business Development activities and ensure excellence and timely delivery of Business projects
  • Help establish Business Development goals and priorities; manage the continual progress tracking towards goals including lead flow and conversion
  • Liaise between Marketing and Business Development to help prioritize and manage projects and timelines
  • Champion the business development process and adherence to data fidelity in Salesforce with Business Development team members (be both coach and cheerleader of the process)
  • Evaluate process effectiveness and look for opportunities to improve the process and sales conversion rates, collaborate with Marketing and Business Development to execute improvement recommendations
  • Day-to-day tasks include data entry, data maintenance, business analysis of potential partners and competitors, business project management associated with conference attendance, and initiate sales outreach workflows
  • Be a steward of our Salesforce governance and ensure implementation approaches that support growth and scale appropriately with our team needs
  • Partner on solution design of Salesforce-hosted platforms or solutions interacting with Salesforce and proactively identify design challenges and needs relating to implementation of Salesforce-based applications, software, and other systems.
  • Lead engagement for Salesforce-based initiatives with cross functional teams responsible for information security, risk, and technology to ensure data integrity and address all regulatory and audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor degree with 3-5 years experience in systems implementations, business development, sales, or Salesforce administration
  • A background or basic understanding of biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry, preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce sales cloud administration and management, Salesforce certification ideal
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate business data
