A Project Manager for Absolute Group is responsible for fully managing, organizing, and planning all aspects of complex projects, including but not limited to managing subcontracts, pricing of change orders, and monthly invoicing of projects. Communication with Estimators, Superintendents, Subcontractors and General Contractors are conducted with the highest levels of integrity.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Oversees multitude of different project types and ensures they are completed on time and to specifications
- Manages all subcontractors on projects they are assigned
- Prices all change orders on projects they are assigned
- Monitors budget and prepares monthly invoicing on all projects
- Approval of Invoices, timecards, and daily logs on all projects
- Attend Pre-Construction and Weekly Project Meetings
- Project set up from estimate/field files and plans
- Ordering of materials for projects
- Agreeing to field quantities with inspectors for payment
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Communicates and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field which may include Construction Engineering or Construction Management
- Valid Driver’s License and clear driving record
- At least three years of related work experience required
Knowledge:
- Complete understanding of job task sequencing/critical timeline scheduling
- Knowledge of labor rates and material costs
- Knowledge of conceptual estimating, budgeting, labor rates, and material costs
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work may be stressful due to continual interaction with others, long hours required and the nature of the construction environment. Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated this this role including prolonged sitting, walking, bending, standing, stooping and reaching. Lifting up to 15 pounds at times.
