Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Supporting multiple research studies, evaluations and program/quality improvement initiatives
- Collecting qualitative data, through interviews, site visit or focus groups
- Coding and analyzing primary/qualitative data
- Conducting quantitative data analysis, including data quality checks, and developing analytic code for statistical analyses
- Summarizing findings in text, tables, figures and maps and communicating information
- Conducting systematic reviews of literature
- Contributing to manuscripts and presentations for internal and external audiences
- Administrative project management, including scheduling meetings and coordinating meeting logistics
- Summarizing meeting discussions
- Developing training materials
- Supporting business development, including managing or writing on research proposals
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Occasional domestic travel
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS (3 - 5) OR MA/MBA (Entry Level) years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters of Public Health (MPH) OR a Masters of Science (MS) AND at least 2 years of experience in public health field
- Strong academic record required
- Excellent writing and quantitative skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to present oneself in a professional manner to and on behalf of clients
- Understanding of federal government policies and programs
- Proficiency with analytic tools and software (e.g., SAS, SPAA, Python, R)
- Knowledge of publicly-funded healthcare and other benefit programs
- Conducts research with attention to detail
- Demonstrated capabilities in managing project tasks and budgets
- Works effectively on teams
