What are the responsibilities and job description for the ABX Receiving Inspector (CVG) position at ABX AIR?
The Receiving Inspector will have the overall responsibility for maintaining the quality of ABX material received; inspect for quality, mechanical and structural soundness of aircraft components; validate documentation and source approval; update all regulatory compliance records in the ABX maintenance content management system as they pertain to aircraft components.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A&P License
- Five years in all aspects of large aircraft maintenance (121, 135) with in-depth knowledge of aircraft materials/components
- Ability to work independently and interpret task instructions related to repair specifications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications, specifically spreadsheets and data bases
- Working knowledge of ATA chapters
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs and blueprints
Preferred Skills:
- Previous auditing experience
- Experience with computer transactions
