Job Description
Our client, a leading supplier to the oil and gas industry, is in need of a Controller to support their growing team. The ideal candidate will be a strong financial leader and oversee both the accounting and administrative teams. Responsibilities include oversight of financial objectives, policies, procedures, and administrative functions such as administering company benefits.
This is a direct hire opportunity with a company that provides a competitive salary and benefits including medical, vision, PTO, and 401k match. This position has the expectation of 100% on-site near Waynesburg, PA.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and direct all accounting and administrative functions
- Prepare financial documents such as sales and use returns, financial statements, and property tax statements
- Develop internal controls guidelines, policies and procedures .
- Analyze financial documents and identify business opportunities and/or risks to support business performance
- Coordinate activities with external auditors
- Oversee corporate ESG policies and compliance with industry customer requirements
- Negotiate and administer company benefits
- Provide analysis for M&A efforts
- Work to create a positive working environment that supports retention and motivation of productive employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4 years' related accounting experience including owning accounting processes
- Experience identifying and supporting growth plan strategies
- Strong communications skills both written and oral
- Ability to present ideas and work collaboratively with executive leadership to achieve goals
- Experience overseeing administrative duties preferred
- 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- CPA or MBA preferred
