Job Description
Our Client, a leader in the financial investment industry, has an immediate need for a Senior Developer. The position is located north of Pittsburgh, PA and is a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). This is a full time permanent position. Ideal candidates must have 5 years of SQL programming experience along with 3 years of API design experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of software and application development best practices and provides leadership across multiple teams to advance organizational practices
- Develop logical and physical data models for relatively smaller systems or components of a larger system
- Prepare technical design documents and technical specifications
- Develop, test and implement approved designs
- Provide leadership and mentoring to other members within the Integration Center of Excellence.
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, system enhancements and bug fixes
- Collaborate with Business Unit, Strategy and Business Analysis teams to understand requirements and business needs
- 2nd and 3rd level On-Call off hours support on a rotational basis
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Team-oriented development experience in a relational database environment - 5 years
- SQL programming - 5 years
- C# programming and PowerShell scripting - 5 years
- API Design - 3 years
- Integration tools (Boomi or Informatica) - preferred
- API Management tools - preferred
- Working on Scrum/Agile projects, Azure DevOps (TFS) and git code version control - preferred
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and automated unit testing - preferred
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google) and Cloud Native technology - preferred
- Capital Markets industry or Financial Services - preferred
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a comparable technical/engineering field, or equivalent work experience
