We are looking for a competent CNC Operator to use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. Your job is important since some materials are not easy to shape or handle manually or with conventional equipment. CNC Operators are highly skilled professionals, able to work with great concentration and precision. They must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential. The goal is to produce high quality parts and materials by programming machines to perform the right operations.
Qualifications

- Required safety attire and equipment must be worn at all times
- Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted
- The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently
- Help and transportation carts must be used or help must be requested for anything over 40lbs
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as a CNC Machine operator
- Simi Valley, CA 93065: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- CNC milling machine: 1 year (Required)
- Manual Programming experience is a plus but not required
CAM (Mastercam / Hypermill) software experience is a plus but not required
English (Required)
Responsibilities
- The right candidate will have some tangible CNC operating experience on vertical machining centers and CNC lathes
- Learn and retain new information
- Accurately complete production and transport products from station to station
- Operate Okuma Vertical Mills, and Mori Lathes
- Measure and inspect parts
- Receive guidance and instruction on machined parts
- Work with setup lead and other operators to improve cycle efficiency
- Monitor consumable tools stock
- Follow safety guidelines as directed by management
Must be clean and organized
Know how to read micrometers, and calipers
Familiar with basic GD&T

CNC Machine Operator A fast-growing CNC Machine shop is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented CNC machine operator to join our expanding team. The business designs and assembles high performance parts for the automotive aftermarket with several new projects and growth initiatives in the works The right candidate will have some tangible CNC operating experience on vertical machining centers and CNC lathes. Additionally, the right candidate for this position has strong organizational skills and works well on their own once they have received the required training. Skills Required: · Ability to efficiently manage the operation of multiple CNC machines · Communicate with co-workers professionally and effectively · Learn and retain new information · Accurately complete production and transport products from station to station · Track progress of multiple jobs simultaneously · Desire to constantly improve Job Requirements: Keep Mills & Lathes Operation Measure and inspect parts Receive guidance and instruction on machined parts Work with setup lead and other operators to improve cycle efficiency Monitor consumable tools stock Follow safety guidelines as directed by management.
