Academy Bus, a leader in passenger transportation, is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Strategic Planning team at our corporate headquarters in Hoboken, NJ. (Free private on-site parking and convenient to public transportation)
This position is full-time in the office, 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm schedule.
Pay rage is $75,000 - 85,000 per year.
Core Role:
- Provide analytical and reporting support for the Strategic Planning Director
- Analyze account performance and collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and results
- Organize existing contracts and new business opportunities to ensure compliance, monitor billing accuracy with regards to rate changes, performance incentives, pass-through expenses, and other billable items.
- Develop and generate reports on weekly, monthly, and annual basis to track performance and compliance
- Participate in operational reviews with senior company leadership (C-level and ownership), as well as on-the-ground operational teams
- Assist with RFP Proposal Responses and Business Development process, including written responses and presentations
- Gather and analyze data from various internal and external sources, including field observations.
- Engage and collaborate with internal teams to stay abreast of strategic projects, initiatives, issues, and ideas

Requirements:
- College degree or commensurate experience in business analytics, data analytics, operations analytics, business, or management
- Experience or internships working in consulting, transportation operations, retail operations, ecommerce or physical distribution operations
- Experience modeling with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or similar platforms
