Job Description:Education:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study preferred
- CSAM Certification required
Work Experiences:
- 4 years' IT Software Asset Management experience
- Previous exposure to IT hardware, software and services
- Experience working with IT asset management tools required
- Experience using IBM ILMT, Snow Software and ServiceNow

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel skills
Responsibilities:
- Create, update and have overall ownership of the process for tracking IT software assets
- Create and enforce governance of the IT Asset Management program
- Research industry best practices to establish benchmarks for managing IT assets
- Be able to effectively communicate asset management purpose and governance to team members and stakeholders
- Assess the impact any proposed changes to the infrastructure may have on software licensing
- Identify costs for current IT assets in use and create reports showing total cost of ownership
- Drive software audit readiness, license and cost modeling for volume licensing agreements
- Continuously monitor and report on Effective License Position for Software installed in the environment
- Communicate principles of software audit readiness, reports and KPI's related to the IT Asset Management program
- Execute internal and vendor driven software audits with software license stakeholders and software vendors
- Track and maintain copies of software license entitlements, warranties, hardware and software maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts to ensure license compliance.
- Perform usage monitoring of all IT software assets escalating compliance violations or harvesting opportunities
- Generate, distribute, and review relevant management reports.
- Investigate and resolve exceptions and accuracy issues in a timely manner
