Your Job as an Application Analyst I:
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Utilizes knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience, and judgment to perform the functions of the job. This role has the flexibility to work remote, however will require you to be in the office 90% of the time.
Your Responsibilities as an Application Analyst I:
- Provide subject matter expertise in EHR application workflow, using clinical and business knowledge to elicit and document requirements for implementation projects with key project stakeholders, department SME’s and end users.
- Facilitate workflow analysis sessions to document current state workflows and build future state workflows for all departments across a hospital that align with the company standard.
- Drive resolution of end-user issues during UAT, training and go-live; work with all parties to prioritize issues, offer solutions, define delivery timelines and provide status updates.
- Lead and participate in the development, review and delivery of project deliverables identified in the project plan (i.e. process standardization, application design, application build, testing, training, conversion and post-conversion support, and optimization work efforts).
- Coordinate onsite trainings for 300 site staff across disciplines and onsite support for go-live.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functioning teams to identify critical issues, hardware, network and other equipment in practices when needed.
- Travel to site for onsite business process discussions, training and to support go-live.
Your Skills and Qualifications as an Application Analyst I:
- BS Management Information systems, Computer Science or equivalent required.
- Two (2) years of demonstrated and verifiable experience in a lead role supporting multi-location information technology software deployments.
- Background in product development and/or product management with extensive knowledge of business requirements, documentation and application functionality is desired.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Knowledge and experience leading and executing end user UAT and internal QA testing of software applications a plus.
- Systems business process design. (how to marry best workflow between operations side and system functionality)
- Ability to learn and apply computer application knowledge to debug common technical issues.
- Ability to travel up to 75%
