Overview
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The Compensation Analyst will lead and participate in the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs and tools to ensure Acadia's ability to attract, retain, motivate and develop our employees; offer competitive pay opportunities; and support our pay for performance philosophy.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS COMPENSATION:
- Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
- Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
- Responsible for the completion of compensation surveys.
- Analyzes results of compensation surveys.
- Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary ranges.
- Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
- Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
- Evaluates and implements job analysis tools and materials.
- Conducts a series of data analytics based on management request.
- Plans and communicates preferred methods and best practices for compensating employees.
- Advises management on applicable state and federal compensation requirements.
Qualifications
Required Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources.
- 1 years of work experience as a Compensation Analyst.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise appropriate discretion and work with confidential data.
- Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and HRIS systems.
- Outstanding people skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient with compensation research and data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- CCP or similar certification.
- PHR certification.
