Acara Solutions is looking for a Floor Assembler for our Client located in Hoffman Estates, IL

Assemble Imaging system and assemblies following documented work instructions (routings, assembly drawings, and test procedures).

Execute duties in compliance with regulatory agencies.

Use test equipment and tools needed to fulfill assignments.
-
Recognize, report, troubleshoot and repair product and process non-conformances.
-
Assure completion of system or sub-assembly in a timely manner.
-
Assemble and test mechanical assemblies used in medical imaging systems.
-
Use written procedures and mechanical drawings as needed.
-
Gather information and enter it into internal computer systems.
-
Use tools and test equipment provided (hand tools, torque wrenches).
-
Supports semi-complex manufacturing related studies and processes.
-
Gathers and records semi-complex production information; enters data into internal computer systems.
-
Participates in semi-complex repairing and retesting for product or manufacturing facilities.
-
Helps develop estimates of requirements arising from process changes.
-
Resolves semi-complex manufacturing or maintenance related problems affecting daily operations.

Participate in technical problem solving/troubleshooting support to a manufacturing environment.
-
Participates in troubleshooting for machine operations to determine parameters for improving efficiency in a production environment.
Pay and Benefits:

The Salary for this position is $20.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Required Skills / Qualifications:
-
At least a high school diploma or GED
-
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assembler
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Work experience in a technical field.

Ability to learn and apply new technical skills.

Ability to read and follow procedures.
-
Ability to accurately log data into computer systems or onto paper.

Ability to work in a team setting.
-
Working knowledge of hand tools (mechanical or electrical torque wrenches, screw guns).
-
Ability to read technical drawings (mechanical assembly, wiring diagrams).
-
Specialized skill training/certification
-
Demonstrates comprehensive working knowledge of a technical or specialty area, and of operations, methods, and practices.

Comprehensive working knowledge of hand tools and torque wrenches needed.
Additional Information:

Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen

Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs.

Ability to work 1st shift.

Ability to work overtime intermittently.
