Here's what you'd do:
- Performs repetitive inspection and auditing operations in fabrication and assembly areas to ensure conformance with design requirements and established specifications.
- Performs work as identified in the 'Inspector & Inspector-Production' classifications.
- Employee is responsible for determining if they have adequate information and material to complete tasks as directed.
- Selection of methods and sequences within the limits of the specific jobs assigned.
- Determines if incoming and outgoing parts are made to specifications.
- Problems with equipment or machinery.
- Conflicting priorities.
- Training issues.
- Understands that their job is not a series of tasks and duties but an integral part of creating customer value.
- Behaves in honorable ways even when no one is watching.
- Maintains confidentiality for sensitive information.
- Acts in line with Group values.
- Alerts others when faced with problems.
- Practices attentive and active listening.
- Probes many fruitful sources for answers.
- Compare and evaluates solutions.
- Evaluates the global impact of the solutions they propose.
- Respects the other while delivering feedback neutrally and respectfully and does not hold back on providing input out of fear of the person's reaction.
- Types of equipment will depend on the area of assignment.
- They may include various measuring devices such as linear scales, calipers, micrometers, radius gages, protractors, square, pin gages, thread gages, hardness testers, height gages, bore gages, and FARO arms.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
