What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Management Associate position at Acara Solutions?
Acara Solutions is seeking Inventory Management Support to work On-Site with our customer in Anaheim, CA.
Here's what you'd do:
- This highly skilled and experienced support material handler (Inventory Management Support B) has responsibilities that include shipping, packing, and receiving of products and loads, unloads, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site under minimal supervision.
- Reroute urgent shipments of a critical nature or arrange for special delivery at the destination.
- Prepares and maintains records of products shipped and tracks shipments.
- Receives incoming materials and unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
- Other duties be assigned.
- Package shipments internally per procedures or send them to an outside packing house.
- Interface with internal departments, external shipping services, or freight companies to ensure timely shipments to our customers/suppliers.
- Generate shipper and labels for shipment of hardware/materials. Shipments may include finished products, detailed parts, and any materials shipped from the PPI facility.
- Perform a visual inspection of incoming material for physical damage.
- Analyze incoming paperwork for accuracy and receive material from suppliers into the ERP system if everything is correct.
- Report discrepancies and place them on the hold shelf.
- Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Opens containers.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
- Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas such as receiving inspection.
- Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move cargo to the destination.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
- Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Pay: $22.00/hr.
- Hours: 40hr/week/ 9/80 Work Week
- Length: Temp to Direct (11 Months)
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 years experience in Inventory Management Support
