What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical position at Acara Solutions?
Acara Solutions is looking for a Technical for our client located in Charlotte, NC.
- The gases are then redirected into a series of rotating and stationary parts that turns the rotor which is then connected to a generator that creates electricity.
- This department is responsible for ensuring quality product by maintaining a robust quality system integrated into the manufacturing process of combustion components.
- Intern will support the quality group in creating quality documentation and perform root cause analysis.
- Also, will support the planning team in optimizing planning and forecast tools.
- Reduce non-conformities by statistical analysis and pareto methodology
- Develop and implement product-specific quality processes utilizing sound engineering judgment and methodologies
- Work with operators, supervisors, and other engineers to improve the manufacturing process to reduce non-conformities.
- Detect and track non-conformances and lead the process of root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures
- Improve manufacturing requirements and instructions by getting direct feedback from operators and other manufacturing engineers
- Use spreadsheets to track and plan future orders for the shop
Pay and Benefits:
The salary for this position is $17.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Technical
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
- Proficient Excel and able to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Willing to work in a plant environment
- Knowledge of design tolerances and gauge function
- Leadership in field of study, extracurricular activities, or service organizations
- High level of integrity, ability to deal with ambiguity, takes initiative and is proactive
- Emerging partnership and collaboration skills and ability to learn from and share knowledge with co-workers in a fast-paced environment
- Evidence of strong character with integrity, honesty, accountability, and trust
