Technician
Duties:
- Reports to the Shop Lead Technician, or Shop Manager.
- Considered to have some experience in his or her position/technicity.
- Demonstrates interest and has successfully cross-trained in multiple types of component repairs.
- As applicable to the designated shop has the strong abilities to Test, Repair, Overhaul, and moderately troubleshoot, aircraft components using schematics diagrams, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) Airline EOs, and other FAA-approved technical documents.
- Needs to be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs some complicated tasks.
- Dexterity with hand tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of specialized repair experience in the field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Multi-meters, Hi-Pot Testers, Bonding Testers, Micrometers, Dial Indicators, Torque Wrenches, Calipers, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analyzer Function Generators and other precision measuring equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
