Acara Solutions is looking for a Testline Technician in Meridian, ID for one of our clients
The Test Line Technician is an initiative-taking problem solver responsible for configuring, commencing, trouble shooting and testing final products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ability to work long hours in a class 100 cleanroom.
Well organized and able to determine priorities in a demanding environment.
Must have integrity as decisions made influence employee and customer safety and satisfaction.
Able to bend, squat and climb ladders required as position occasionally requires crawling on the ground and working from heights.
Ability to read, understand, improve, and write QMS work instructions related to the test line.
Solid ability to read engineering drawings (blueprints).
Solid working knowledge of electrical circuits, multimeters, National Electric Codes, fire codes, SEMI codes, fluid dynamics and assembly techniques and safety.
Experience and working knowledge with system controls, pneumatic and electrical.
The ability to program and set parameters of a variety of electric, fluid and pneumatic controllers.
Ability to analyze and diagnose equipment malfunction with a systematic approach utilizing deductive reasoning.
Experience in circuit troubleshooting.
Able to safely lift and carry, push or pull objects up to 50lbs.
Able to walk, stand and work on feet for the duration of shift.
Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, grasp, handle and operate hand/power tools or controls.

Job Requirements:
- Experience working in the semiconductor industry
- Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent experience which should include at least three years of applied, technical or industrial controls and electronics experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Training and experience in 6S.
- Experience working with ladder logic, Allen Bradley and Unitronics PLCs.
- Always maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment using the 6S method.

- Connect/disconnect temporary electrical, pneumatic and water lines to wet benches on the test line and cleanroom.
- Set up controllers, switches, meters, regulators, and HMI parameters on benches.

Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
